1) What is the structure of Anna Bowman Translation Services Ltd? Anna Bowman Translations
Ltd, is a professional team of translators, proofreaders, localisation
engineers and DTP publishers who are each specialists in their own
field. All linguists are independent and are based in different
parts of the world, but are directed through one administration
centre. We have adopted some of the characteristics of an agency
but maintain a freelance style approach to our clients. Our service
may be hired by agencies as well as by direct clients.
2) Where is the company based? The company's administration
centre is based in Lincoln in the United Kingdom, whilst our translators
are located throughout the world. This unique structure gives us
the ability to call upon different specialist translators for different
projects, which is a perfect platform to be able to combine a high
standard of business care with high quality native translations.
3) Who are the people behind this business? The owners of our company are Anna Tsaturyan
and Jonathan Bowman.
Anna Tsaturyan is a specialist (MA) of English Language, Russian Language and Literature, and also has a Degree in Law. She has worked in the translation industry since 1996, both as an in-house translator and interpreter, within the CIS, and as a freelancer in the UK. With Russian as her mother tongue, Anna's native linguistic ability is critical to the careful vetting of prospective translators and ensuring that strict standards are adhered to. Jonathan Bowman has many years of direct management experience, is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and has been involved in marketing/sales since 1992. Being a native British citizen, Jonathan understands the 'western viewpoint' and knows the challenges facing modern businesses embarking on a Russian venture. The combination of business experience and specialist language knowledge gives the directors the ability to help you with whatever you want to achieve, both on a linguistic and a commercial level. 4) Which services do you offer?
